Can I use this with the Backbone ONE for Android?
On Android, Sony’s PS Remote Play app exclusively supports the Sony PlayStation® DualSense™ Wireless Controller and the DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller. At this time, there is no official support for any other input devices, including the Backbone One Controller for Android.
In the meantime, players can enjoy the hundreds of games available from both the Google Play Store and cloud gaming and remote play services offered by Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, GeForce Now, Steam Link, and more. Do I need to own an PlayStation® console?
Yup, PS Remote Play requires you to log into an PlayStation® console. It can be any console–whether you own it, rent it, or borrow it, that decision is up to you. No console? No problem. Is my PlayStation® console Campatible?
The PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation 5 all support PS Remote Play capabilities. Own an older generation model of PlayStation? Can I pay all my PlayStation Games?
Any game installed on your PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, or PlayStation 5 can be played remotely. You can even download new games remotely through the PS Remote Play app. Don’t feel like waiting? Try streaming the title using Google Stadia Pro.
Do I need to own an PlayStation Games to play them remotely?
Yup. To play a game remotely, you must have it installed on your console. Don’t worry, if you forgot to download a game before you left the house, you can also download new games on your console through the PS Remote Play app.
Do I have to be home to use PS Remote Play?
Nope! That’s the beauty of PS Remote Play. So long as you have a stable internet connection with your phone via wi-fi or cellular data and your PlayStation console is on or in rest mode, then it’s accessible anywhere. Play from the couch at grandma’s house or from the beach on a remote desert island.
Dose my PlayStation has to be on for PS Remote Play?
